r e l

Twenty-years isn’t many but Los Angeles native, r e l paramounts her peers with her pop alt-R&B covers and track hits including ‘Before the Storm’, ‘Headed for the Sun,’ and ‘Plateau’. Although my most favorite, and most notable as a Glass Animals fan was r e l’s cover of Glass Animal’s mega hit “Gooey”. With pipes and a groove junior to Marian Hill, it’s easy to assume and hope that r e l will develop into the right ooey-gooey fit and jam of her own soon enough. “Before the Storm” sort of brings you to this, brings you to the growth and confidence r e l is gaining in strides as a singer like her should. Melodic pop-driven blues set to forget me not but I’m a strong woman lyrics really empower and impress. The self-titled EP is out now and available for download. Pop by MTV Iggy or Impose Magazine for more on r e l.
