Ladies and gentlemen, BoC is proud to premier the newest track from Don’t Chase Felix. “Come Get Me High” is a bluesy, ballad style masterpiece chalk full of suggestive lyrics and intense power chords, grabbing the listener and thrusting them into a world of love, neglect, and desire. The track portrays the intense feelings of frustration and satisfaction associated with needing someone, similar to a drug. When you have this person, nothing else compares, and when you don’t, the desire hijacks your mind.
Needing someone (or something) can eat away at your soul, leaving you in a desperate state of withdrawal when you are deprived of your fix. The fact that the track seems to interpret this fix as a human is an interesting idea. Love or lust? There seems to be a fine line between these two emotions, which Don’t Chase Felix masterfully achieves. BoC is honored to present “Come Get Me High”.
