Brooklyn to MIA: Meet King Soloman

I think a lot of us have been searching for that new success story when it comes to most hip hop and rap artists. Look no further because we found one here for you. Sean Levine, also known as King Soloman, has made a huge impact on the Miami local music scene and is quickly doing so everywhere else. A success story resulting in music about defying the odds and rising up against all challenges. King Soloman shows us that you can do anything you set your mind to, no matter what obstacles come your way.

1.What made you want to become a music artist?

Honestly going to high school for music, taking private lessons for drums, and being around music my whole life. Just felt natural.

2.What makes you different from other artists?

Because I tell the truth. Everything that I rap about I’ve done in real life. I stay true to who I am. A lot of rappers just lie about their lives it’s like they are living a fantasy. I’m not going to rap about money if I’m broke.

3. Have there been any obstacles thus far in your music career?

Yes, there have been a lot. I could probably make a movie about it. Everyday there is a new obstacle.

4.We heard you have a new music video coming out, can you tell us the thought process behind it?

I just wanted it to be the most authentic representation of my life. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and I want the music video to really capture that. I’m showing places that are unique to people who grew up in Brooklyn.

5. If you can describe your music in one word using a food, what would it be?

Sushi because I’m a combination of a lot of things all rolled up into one.

Stay tuned for so much more coming out by King Soloman!
