Feast on the Fallen brings out a powerful metal performance to the big crowd that showed up to this gig. FOTF kicked off the night of heavy riffs and moshing which left people wanting more as the night went on. These guys are getting there sound out there, unlike most bands in the area which tend to stick to a more hardcore/beatdown tone. Definitely check them out if you’re into real death metal.
Rat’s Nest is a newer hardcore band that has so much potential to do some big things with what they are doing musically. These songs will keep you wanting more whenever you see them live and I promise that you will want to see them perform again soon.
Cutting Ties is a brand new band coming out of the Pittsburgh area. This bouncy-hardcore band will get your head banging hard. Featuring ex members of former band Remission and members of Nullity, this super-group is bringing a new sound that PGH is pretty new to!
Place Blame played their last set as a four-piece and plan on working on some new music now including a new member which everyone should be excited for, because this is another sick band that punches you in the face with their sound. The whole band has so much energy when they play and it really shows when they are up on stage in front of everyone. Hopefully, they can get these new songs out soon for people to jam.
No Good Deed, coming back from their run with locals 156/Silence, was still able to put on an extremely heavy set. The crowd was going wild by the first note they played and both the bands and people watching kept the energy up all night. This beatdown band set the stage for what was about to come from the headlining band Boundaries.
Boundaries coming all the way from Connecticut has been on tour to promote their newest album “My Body in Bloom”. The whole album is so well put together and flows from song to song in the 18 minute run time. If you ever have the chance to see them live then please do so because you will be blown away by how much more intense one of their live sets are than sitting down and listening to the album.
Hollowed Out was added to the show last minute, but they still brought that Texas heat. They played a short 15 minute set but that was enough to leave a lasting impression. These guys are not a band you’ll want to sleep on.
“I was so lucky to have my band be put on this show because it was without a doubt one of the best shows I have ever had the opportunity to play. Make sure to support all of the bands mentioned here as much as you possibly can because any support given keeps shows like this going and helps bring great touring acts such as Boundaries to a little place like Roboto.”
